21  Bottle Lamp in Crafty Housewares: Completed Projects: General by kianee on: April 02, 2007 04:01:50 AM
I made a kitchen lamp! The theme of our kitchen is blue, so I figured I could make a lamp out of blue plastic bottles.

Here are some pictures (they're hopefully not too big):

The hardest part was figuring out where the saw-holes in the bottle holder should go

Sawing out the holes and putting the bottles in

The finished project in our blue-striped kitchen

I like it, although it was my first project with this electric saw thingy, and therefore the edges are all a bit rough and wonky. But I'll practise Smiley Oh, and I should put an energy-saving lightbulb in it, otherwise the heat is going to fry the plastic.
