4  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Discussion and Questions / Re: I'm sorry this isn't really crafty but....that color pulse stuff on: June 22, 2005 04:49:21 PM
I have darkish brown hair, and I used to plum one, and I thought it looked really good.  I got a lot of compliments, and it made my hair very shiny.  Careful though, its been more than a month, and you can only tell in bright lights, but my hair looks a little highlighted.  It doesn't look bad, but I thought I'd warn you about that.  The mousse smells really really good.  Just make sure, when you rinse it out, get it ALL out, my pillow case was purple that night  Cheesy

I have most of the songs you suggested!  Cheesy  I'm deffinetly leaning towards rock, but some of my friends are total pop/hip hop junkies, though I have been known to like hip hop, i like rock a lot more.

thanks guys! as far as glow sticks, you gave me a good idea:
last summer on forth of july, we got glow necklaces and put them together in wierd ways, like sprials and figure 8's, and used them as decoration, so that might be cool

for music, i'm using my ipod or my friends computer, and hooking it up to some speakers, we'll see how that goes...

yay glow balloons!
7  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Party Planning / 8th grade graduation party? its cooler than it sounds...i think on: May 15, 2005 03:44:51 PM

so guys, i'm graduating 8th grade (super, right? Cheesy) and about five friends and i are throwing a bash for our friends at school (about 55 people).  Its going to be in my friend's basment, which might be a little more than a bit cramped, but hopefully we'll have a door in there by then and can have part of the party outside and part of it inside.  I'm taking care of music and helping with decorations.  I think we're going to go with a club/dance theme, since the room is small anyway.  So, the questions are as follows:

Any must have songs that i should play?
Any ideas on decorations?
I'm thinking posters to sign, christmas lights outside, and black lights inside so far...your help is needed.

i hate the white ones, if you can get them to work(i can't either), they're all clumpy.  You might want to try the yellow one, and paint over it, i don't know if it works, its just an idea

sorry i can't be more help
