571  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: rocks/gems? IMG HEAVY!!!! on: April 09, 2007 03:22:55 PM
I was thinking that you could possibly get a glass vase or something, and get a sheet of transparent or opaque plastic the same height of the vase and wrap it in a circle, then put it in the middle of the vase.  Then fill up your vase on the outside of the plastic opaque piece with your rocks, that way you wouldn't miss seeing the rocks on the inside.  Get a small string of clear bulbed Christmas lights and put them down inside the vase in the middle of the clear plastic.  Then maybe the light would light up your rocks, not sure, just an idea, then you could disguise the cord at the top with dried flowers or ribbon or something, you could also put some potpourri in there that will smell nice when the lights are on when it heats up.
