1  Art project in More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works by LibertyAnn on: March 09, 2007 08:14:20 PM
I had an art project that I had to do for my FOUNDATIONS OF DESIGN class.

basically it's a self portrait out of torn pieces of paper.

I messed it up my first time so I had to start over and this is what it is:

picture it came from:

2  reconstruction numero dos in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by LibertyAnn on: February 25, 2007 03:22:49 PM
This is my second reconstruction
from apron

to cute little indie shirt

It wasn't that hard, I just sewed up the back, messed with the shoulders so it would fit better, and then put sleeves on.

Not too hard, actually really easy.
But I think it is "simply" cute. Wink

3  couture is my favorite. in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by LibertyAnn on: February 25, 2007 01:57:44 PM
well, I think I might have done better on this than I did.
but I kinda like it.
The pictures suck though.
It's not an everyday dress, it's more couture-- mainly inspired by vogue and other magazines of that nature.
I hope you still enjoy it.

the picture of the back doesn't look very good. Sad

I hope you liked it.

4  flannel shirt recon. (It's my first.) in Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by LibertyAnn on: February 22, 2007 04:09:46 PM
okay, so I had this really ugly flannel shirt, that didn't fit and just looked gross hanging up in my closet. I knew it had potential but it took me FOREVER to find out what that potential was.
and here is the finished product (sorry, I don't have before pictures, just picture the ugliest baggy, flannel shirt you can think of and that's it.):

back^ (It's not really this tight, I was kinda pulling on the pockets)

Like I said, it was really baggy before- so what I did was take in the side seems, add darts to the back and underneath the boob, I lowered the pockets from being on the boob to being on my stomach, and I shortened the sleeves as well as made them poofy-er.

What do you think?
