Love your fabrics. they go so cutely with your cute design. Darn it, my crochet mesh bags seem boring by comparison! oh well... we're still all doing our part.

ROTFL! Love! I get a kick out of the plush spear because it just seems funny to make a spear out of fluffy fabric.

and mimi has the little shawl & candle. I can see why you'd have trouble giving them away.

now you just need an excuse to make a Papageno.
33  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / weight issues on: August 19, 2007 12:04:10 PM
... for fabric, of course.  Wink
I'm planning a scrap quilt and was wondering if anyone had any experience combining fabrics of different weights - in my case, it's calico and khaki. Is this a totally stupid idea? Will something awful happen if do it? Or does it make any difference at all?

Thanks in advance.

Totally awesome. great foresight to occupy yourself during a potentially un-fun time. a lot of my craft projects are planned around long trips, jury duty, etc.

Cheesy Not that you need anyone else to tell you this, but that is totally awesome. You turned a potential costume liability into an enviable accessory. Wonderful!

That is soooo pretty. I have to learn to do hexagons... they just seem more organic than squares.

Could you possibly post closer pics of the fabric? It's so cool I just wanna see... Grin

Cheesy Sweeeeet! I ogle Mrs. Weasley's creations too... my favorite is that fair aisle hat Ron wears in POA.

(Hmm... now what am *I* going to wear Friday?)

Neato. I copied your tute. Must make one. Have this Hello Kitty fabric remnant that's very horizontal, and the pleats would be a great way to deal with that.
