1  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / First Fascinator on: August 01, 2011 12:47:45 AM
This is my first go at a fascinator, just a simple one sort of copied from a tute I found on the web. This one if for my WI meeting next week when we have our annual garden party!

I used a shell that I had collected on a recent holiday to cover the stems of the flowers.
2  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Patchwork Tote on: April 11, 2009 06:03:41 AM
I made this for a recent swap, my first successful attempt at patchwork.

My partner has received so I am now safe to post.  Cheesy
3  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General / Necklace on: January 04, 2009 12:01:58 PM
I made this simple necklace fo my friend's mom's birthday.

Took about half an hour and is on a 20cm silver chain.

It has a small angel dangling from the heart, I could not get an in-focus close up of it  Angry

Comments welcome

6  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / 3 Fat Quarter Bag (The Purple Square One) on: April 18, 2008 01:40:50 PM
This is my latest 3 fat quarter bag. I sorta made a mistake when cutting the shape so this has ended up a square one. Purple is my favorite colour!

7  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Another 3 Fat Quarter Bag (The Red Debut Bag) on: April 12, 2008 08:43:45 AM
Following the other beautiful bags shown on here I thought I should join in. So I downloaded the really excellent tute and made this:

The red fabric on the back has butterflies in a batik style, no matter how I photographed it I could not get them to show up!!

What do you think?
8  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / Placemats tute on: April 09, 2008 11:26:12 PM
Can anyone point me in the direction of a simple placemat tute please?

9  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / Fat Quarter Swap on: April 06, 2008 12:00:17 PM
I was thinking of a fat quarter swap, maybe send 3/4 FQ's too someone. Either leave it at that or make something with it and send it back.

What do you think? We could have a long craft period if we are going to return it.
10  QUILTING / Quilting: Discussion and Questions / How to get neat squares on: March 27, 2008 12:28:29 PM
I have loads of 4" squares that my lovely hubby brought me for Christmas but I am too scared to use them!!!  Shocked

I made a sat-nav case with 3 of them and my squares were not neatly lined up. Any tips for improving my technique or will is just be practice?

I have 200 4" squares (at the moment) of lots of colours and patterns, what would you suggest my block would be? Originally I was going to sew strips then sew them together but as my matching up was not up to it so I may do 4 x 4 blocks instead.

Help please!!!
