1  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Beads: Completed Projects / Re: A bunch of woven necklaces! (picture heavy) on: January 23, 2008 08:41:27 PM
Well, I don't think you can go wrong by starting out with a pendant from Shoozles, she does amazing things with glass. But your beadwork certainly does those pendants justice. Very pretty!  I love that blue/brown beading with the beach pendant.

I would be happy to teach you how to do stained glass... if you want to come to Colville to learn.  I've taken over about half of my husband's workshop, much to his dismay. : )

These threads haven't seen much action lately, have they? I'm north of Spokane, near Colville.  I do stained glass, fused glass, photography, photo notecards, quilting, and.. would love to get better at tole painting.  Anybody else up near Colville with similar interests? Or- Spokane?

5  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Tips for Participating in Craft Fairs / Re: Preparing for my first craft fair -- How much inventory do I need? on: February 22, 2007 10:24:03 PM
I'm glad I found this thread- it has a lot of helpful information in it. I'm going to have a booth at my very first craft fair mid-March.  I do stained glass, photography and photo note cards- and can't make up my mind if I should try to do all three, or maybe just stick with the glass OR the photography/photo notecards. I don't want it to be cluttered, but I was thinking if I tried all three, I could see what sells best. Any ideas about too much variety?  The glass items are just small table lamps, and fused glass magnets.

Not exactly in Spokane, I live about 70 miles north, near Colville.  I love crafting, mostly stained glass and quilting.  I took one tole painting class which was fun, I'd love to learn more about that. And I do a lot of photography.
