WOW Shocked
Beautiful bag , just gorgeous love the shape of the bag and the fabric I love everything about it.
I got 3 metal frames from etsy couple weeks ago But did not get to it yet there is not many tutorials on it. Did you fallow some kind of pattern I see your bag has diffrent shape than any i sew so far I like it  Could you explain how you make the pattern like that? is it hard to put the fabric in to the frame and glue. I am very scared of this step I think seams you can always redo here with the glue there is no going back?
I need some tips and advice on how to start and maybe over the weekend I make one. What size is your metal frame and what glue did you used?

I love your pouches, good job  Smiley they look very neat.
What kind of interfacing do you use? do you interface outside fabric or lining?
13  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / purse frame bag question? on: March 31, 2009 05:45:05 AM
hello everyone.
So I finally ordered a couple of 7 inch metal purse frames.  Grin
I am going to try to make some bags I read tutorial on U handblog.
But my question is about the glue. Is there any good glue for that project which I could get at Jo Ann or Michaels? If you know any other tutorials for those kind of bags please post links. I am kind of scared to do it because  I know that seams I can always re do but with glue there is no going back  Huh
any Tips? Smiley

I love  Your fabric choice it beautiful   Cheesy
I used this pattern over the weeknd and made 2 bags for myself one orginal size and one bigger. I also added cellphone pocket and wooden rings to the handle .
I am looking at your bag and I can not figure it out how did you put zipper there. Any tips? i would  like to know how to do that  Huh
Looks great...
15  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Discussion and Questions / Re: slouchy bag help please!!! on: November 10, 2008 05:22:21 AM

I made couple similar slouch bags. I used fusible fleece interfacing. the pattern is almost like basic Jody bag but a little bit more square like. Smiley
the top and the bottom are a little bit different not much.It depends on how wide i made the bottom of the bag.
PS I make handle kind of short which i think forces the top of the bag to slouch!!
here are my bags

good luck

I love the bag. It's big  funky and looks great..love the surprise inside..green lining.. I love it.
I have question about handle.. How did you attached to the ring.. How you call those little silver things  Huh  and what kid of tool you use to do that.. I always look at the stores bags have these things but I don't know what they are? Embarrassed
17  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: giraffe hobo bag and plaid clutch on: September 18, 2008 06:53:30 AM
Hello everyone.
after 3 days without power..no internet no sewing.. I am back to normal life.. It feels great.
You  all made my day today. Thank you for all those compliments  Kiss
I just want to go and make more bags...right now. I am so happy.. for some reason I always think my baga are  not as good as other crafters.

to answer your questions. I have never made a tutorial.. and the reason is..English is not my firs language. I can speak but writting..uuu is not so good. and the sewing vocabulary  Embarrassed.. I can do in Polish now problem  Grin
I will try next time to do some pictures.... while I am sewing.
The hobo bag is made kind like  Jordy Bag - Square Bottomed Lined Bag
I fold fabric in a half and cut approx.18" by 20"  I do not cut the squares at the bottom. My bottom sis 6" wide. I use plastic canvas at the bottom and some hot glue Grin
lining I cut a little bit smaller 18"by 18"( )due to.. the top of the main fabric is fold at the top (look at the picture). which look good and makes  the bag look professional but it gets tricky with putting handle in..
I think just the right measurements make the bag look more rectangle than A-line. the short handle..(the handle with rings is the same long as the bag width)
make the bag to sog... which looks like Hobo..I think.
My envelope clutches.. I made my own pattern i just each time change the shape of the flop. I learn how to make them from I envelope clutch i got at  the garage sales for 25 c I took it a part  to see how they made it. And now I know the trick it is simple. But hard for me to explain,. I promise to take pictures ... when I make one over the weekend. I plan to make a giraffe clutch.. Grin I just have to get my brow fabric for lining and some peltex 70.
all my fabric for this bags came from Jo Ann. the giraffe pattern is alova fabric for 12.99 the brown fabric is not vinyl, its also from Jo Ann like plaid fabric  from their fall collection. for the brown clutch I paid more for the fabric inside than the outside fabric. the inside is silk but i could not find any other in that color.
the flower I learn how to make from a book  Fun to wear fabric flowers
 great book !
I hope I answered all your question
Thanks again for great comment  Smiley

Hi I love Your bags especially the one with orange flowers.. Cheesy I made one last night  different style of grocery bag from free  Burda pattern which I really like it, but yours look much simpler and easier to make. Especially when I plan to make few of them, I have a yards and yards of polyester webbing so I could finally use it.
Can you tell me the dimensions of your bag , and I don't really know how did you do the bottom .
Is the pattern ...2 rectangles/ squares sewn togeher  and how you get the angel on the bottom side of the bag. Huh
