You can also buy cans of spray laquer in satin or matte at the craft and/or hardware store.

Man, I wish I had seen this before my granddaughter was born!
She's too big now, but I guess I could do regular tee's for her.
Fantastic job!

i love it! is there any way you could post a tutorial or somthing?

Here's a tutorial:

*Select your bead colors. I use pony beads.
*Line a cookie sheet with foil. Try to keep the foil as wrinkle free as possible.
*Lay out your design with your beads. Make sure the holes are facing up and down.
*Preheat your oven to 400F.
*CAREFULLY carry your cookie sheet to the oven and CAREFULLY place it in the oven with the rack placed in the middle position.
*Turn on your exhaust fan, open a window, open a door, anything to get ventilation! This will stink to high heaven....trust me!
*Keep an eye on your beads. When they melt to the point that you can no longer see any holes and the melted plastic is flat take it out of the oven. Times will vary.
*Turn a metal bowl with a flat bottom upside down on the counter.
*Flip the entire thing, foil and all, over the bowl and press the bottom flat against the bottom of the bowl. Don't forget this step or your bowl won't sit flat.
*Gentally form the sides of your melted plastic into a bowl-like shape.
*Allow to cool and then pop it off the bowl and peel the foil off.
*Admire your new bowl!

I made this today.
I hate glue guns.....hate hate hate!!!!
I have a bun blister on the pad of my thumb, and I burnt the skin right off of the back of my index finger.

Pay no attention to the bow.  Cheesy

Thanks all  Smiley

Pink Hickey ......I used pony beads actually. I laid them out on a foil lined cookie sheet and baked them at 450 until they melted, then I lifted it out, foil and all and set it over the top of a metal bowl and pressed a flat bottom with another piece of foil.

Word of advice......it makes your kitchen stink! I had to turn on the stove fan and open the back door.
