21  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: My Continued Romance with Encaustic (Hot Wax+Resin) Painting on Wood on: May 07, 2009 07:01:18 PM
I like these.... Does the wax work well with the fabric?  Do you dye your wax? I am not very familiar with this whole process... Do you have to do anything to prep the wood?
22  JEWELRY AND TRINKETS / Trinkets and Jewelry: Discussion and Questions / Wizard of Oz Charms on: February 16, 2009 06:45:32 PM
I have seen people making bracelets with Wizard of Oz charms... especially on Etsy, so I know the charms are out there, but the only ones I can find are the expensive sterling sliver charms.  I was wondering if anyone has seen some cheaper versions of these charms?

I am directing play and I always give charms out to the seniors for the show.....

peyton is ridiculously adorable!
24  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: General / Re: My First Post. Christmas Cards, not long to go..... on: October 26, 2008 05:21:45 PM
I really like these cards!  How did you paint the backgrounds?  I think they look good, without looking too typically Christmas.
25  POTTERY, CERAMICS, POLYMER CLAY / Polymer Clay: Completed Projects / Re: All Tangled Up! IMG heavy.... on: October 19, 2008 06:21:08 PM
I also have the minilights.  I think I got a bunch at Wal-Mart last year when the Christmas stuff went on clearance.

You have done such a great job on these.  They are soooo professional looking.  I would be sooo proud of myself if I had made them.  And I love the teeth on the bunny.  Penguins are some of my favorite animals....
26  FIBER ARTS / Felting: Completed Projects / Re: Felted Franki (my dog) on: October 19, 2008 06:01:54 PM
This is amazing for a first time!  (For any time really) I think it is really neat how in the pictures Franki seems to be looking at miniFranki with this...  "I feel like I know you" look.

I also adore the picture of the kitty taking out his revenge....
27  MORE ART, LESS CRAFT / More Art, Less Craft: Completed Works / Re: holepunch doggy on: October 19, 2008 05:39:43 PM
How cute is this?  How much fun did you have punching all the dots?

The puppy is just adorable!!!  I can see why you would want to create his image out of anything and everything!
28  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Screen Printing: Completed Projects / Re: Fun Halloween screen prints on: October 18, 2008 07:38:02 PM
If one of my students wore The Raven shirt, I would be soooo proud.  Great Job.  I love them both!
29  COOKING / Dessert / Re: Murdered Cupcakes (For the Dexter season premiere) on: October 18, 2008 07:30:42 PM
I absolutely adore these!  I was hoping to be in my new house in time to have a Halloween house warming party, but that doesn't look like it will be happening.  These would have been great for that!  Did you paint the chocolate after you piped it out and it cooled? Or did you use the colored kind?
30  GLASS CRAFTS / Glass Crafts: Completed Projects / Re: Copper Enameling - Small dish on: July 12, 2008 10:07:37 AM
I think you did a wonderful job!  Love the colors!
