5  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Re: Flash bag! on: March 09, 2007 09:46:56 PM
That is awesome!  Did you use interfacing in the bag or just went with fabric?  I'm interested in making my own messenger bags...

Again, Great Job!

7  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / the power of sheep! on: February 15, 2007 12:42:18 AM
Okay, so I made this one out of some stretchy black fabric and two super cute sleepy sheep pillowcases!  Infinite thanks to https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=100217.0
for the delectable tutorial!

This was my first try with a zipper and hood....

again with the rockin rainbow shower curtain! makes for funtastic pictures...

from behind.... no sheep jokes please

the gunk is actually on the mirror, not the sweater... which reminds me to clean the bathroom. euugghh

and one last close up look at the inspiration for it all....

This is my new favourite sweater, it is SO comfortable.  I wear it with sweatpants mostly for lounging around the house or going to the store.
8  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / a Vday celebration! on: February 15, 2007 12:33:03 AM
Hey! I've been lurking around Craftster for a while...  I recently celebrated the one month anniversary of my committed relationship to my sewing machine... and thought I'd share some of our love children...

This is a blazer I picked up from the Sally Ann for a few bucks... I don't have any before pics but it was big and bulky, (with shoulder pads no less!)  I ripped out the lining and the sleeves, resized it and changed the buttons.  I'm ecstatic with the results and happy to say wore it out for the first time to our school's Vday production of the Vagina Monologues!   I love vaginas!!

the badass background is our shower curtain...

and one more from behind....

I also made the arm warmers!  These are some of my first projects, so thanks for looking!
9  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 3 skirts for 3 spring moods !! on: February 15, 2007 12:30:23 AM
Wow! I love the last one, the orange is so vibrant and the cut is very playful.  Excellent!
10  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Re: 1st machine project inc overbust corset on: February 15, 2007 12:29:19 AM
The corset is very flattering, especially with the long front.  You're right, the skirt does look somewhat small... but great job overall!
