I wanted to make matching outfits for all of us, but I was short on time so I kept it simple.  I made an elastic waist skirt for myself and pillowcase dresses for my girl and her baby doll.  I used hand dyed bamboo fabric.  I like how they turned out, but I'll probably add an applique to them.

I'm very impressed.  They both look great!

Thanks everyone.

The panels are random patchwork cut up into rays and patched together.  The half circle sun is appliqued on.

The panels on these pants took a long time to design and sew, but I love the way they turned out.  The sunbeam design was my husband's idea.  I got them finished just in time for a Phish concert we went to.

8  CLOTHING / Clothing for Kids: Completed Projects / Birthday dress for my sweetie on: May 28, 2009 12:28:21 PM

It was the little one's third birthday so I let her pick out some fabric and I made her a dress.  After what seemed like hours at the fabric store she finally settled on this cute lady bug fabric.
