1  ORGANIZED CRAFT SWAPS / New Swap Theme Ideas / traveling bag swap on: June 20, 2009 03:42:41 PM
Hey guys, I was thinking a traveling tote bag swap would be fun. I'm not sure if this has been done before but I've seen the tea towel swap which is the same concept of what I was thinking, just with a tote bag. We would make a bag (or buy one) then send it to different places to be decorated and embellished, simple and fun. :-) What do yall think?
2  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Punch buggy green!! on: April 07, 2009 10:00:11 PM
My SO and I play punch buggy whenever we are in the car so I decided he needed a shirt. I've never stenciled before so I'm pretty pleased with how it came out. I have no idea why I haven't done this before it was incredibly easy! Let me know what you think!

(it's really not crooked, I guess I just can't take a straight picture)

and on the inside of the sleeve I just had to:

3  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / what I made for my Valentine! on: February 16, 2009 02:42:51 PM
So it looks like I was onboard with just about everyone else on here and made my boy a 52 reasons book... mine was plain, but I think it turned out great! Here are two of my pages

I also made him a secret book thing, ya know where you cut the middle out of the book... It reads 1 Corinthians 13 inside and thats us in the middle!

I also bought him a HUGE sugar daddy candy thing, it weighed over a pound :-) and we always have to go to Krispy Kreme when the light is on, so I got him a stock in the company and a gift certificate for 2 dozen doughnuts. The stock reads, "here is your first stock in the only thing in life sweeter than you!!"
4  OCCASIONS AND HOLIDAYS / Valentine's Day / help with some word art? on: January 19, 2009 09:42:42 PM
The bf and my 6 month anniversary is on the 23rd and I want to mail him a card with some other things I got for him, but I need some help... Does anyone know how to make words into a shape? The card is going to say on the outside "We go together like..." and on the inside is a list of things that go together but I would like to make the list in a heart shape. The other thing I am mailing him is a Jenga game for his Wii, and I'm gonna say its been six months since I "fell" for you or something like that. :-) I can't wait to mail it to him. So if anyone knows how I can make the card without having to write it, I would greatly appreciate any help!

And since this is the Valentine's thread, for V-day I am making him a book with the inside cut out and I'm going to put our picture in the middle. I'm hoping to paint the inside to make it look antique but I haven't decided how to do that yet... any suggestions? Also I'm going to write 1 Corinthians on the inside as well. I think he'll really like it. Also we love to get Krispy Kreme when the light is on so I am making kind of a thing to go with that. I'm buying this huge sugar daddy candy I found the other day and getting hot tamales as well. And its going to say "One day a Hot Tamale met her Sugar Daddy and she bought him Krispy Kreme." (or something similar to that, I haven't worked that out either...)

Thanks for reading... I know its long!
