31  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Scarf, Hat, and Mittens from Charmed Knits! on: January 26, 2008 12:31:55 AM
No offence, but its not blue and gray, its blue and bronze. but you get a thumbs up for effort!
A) According to the pattern book, I believe it says to use Grey and Blue yarns
B) The movies use Blue and Grey, so while she might not be accurate to the books, she is accurate to the movie.
32  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Knittys Jeanie on: January 21, 2008 09:12:21 PM
I'm really hoping I get to make this. My dad said he'd buy me the yarn next week, but I have to stay on him to make sure he doesn't flake.
I'm gonna use Pallette in Garnet Heather from knitpicks. I'll definitely be posting here about it. I have a horrible tendency to not finish pattern projects, let alone something this big.

Thats awesome. I might have to make something like that for a friends 21st here in a couple months...and force her to make me one for my 21st next year.

35  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Nintendo DS Cozy on: January 21, 2008 06:00:26 PM
So I got a new Nintendo DS for christmas, and rather than spend the money to buy something to cover it, I decided to knit myself a cozy.

What do you think?
If people ask for it I might put up a pattern, either here or on another site and link it here.

37  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: My Prom Dress.... on: April 15, 2007 06:14:18 PM
Wow! That's beautiful! I wish I had the patience to do all of that knitting.
And I love the way the fluff added to the skirt, it definitely makes the outfit stand out. I'd feel really special getting to twirl around in that too!
38  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: circular / pinwheel blanket on: April 15, 2007 11:21:39 AM
That's absolutely loverly!
I love the color too. And you can't tell that it was made with several different needle sizes. Congrats on your biggest project!
39  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: The Ugliest Socks In My Sock Drawer on: April 14, 2007 01:26:04 PM
I think those are really interesting! I won't say that they're beautiful, but only becuase I'm more drawn toward pinks, reds, and blacks, but they'd definitely get my attention in a good way if I saw them in person!
40  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Cabled fingerless gloves of my own design on: April 05, 2007 10:07:36 PM
