to make the wavy ones you pop it in at 400 F for about 5  minutes and then you take it out and you can actually shape it how you like - over the bowl etc (use potholders to touch at first because you dont wanna get burned -- but yeh - i love these exact same ones they have at uncommon goods (same artist i believe) and i wanna make them like this too - but i haven't tried yet i assume you do it the same way but maybe put it inside th bowl and shape it around that instead of putting it on the outside of the bowl.

ok ok - so i haven't made this but it sounds so easy i think i might make it~!

The patchwork rug is backed with thick rice mats for padding and durability.

To make the rug, piece together squares of polar fleece, like a quilt. Braid strips of fleece together and secure with buttons on either end. Connect fleece squares to the braids. Velco rice mats to the bottom of the rug. They can be removed later when the rug needs cleaning.
