13  BATH AND BEAUTY / Bath and Beauty: Completed Projects / In the pot glop on: May 27, 2013 03:16:22 PM
I was trying to do an in the pot swirl but my soap thickened to fast and I ended up with glop. I think it came out okay in the end. I just sorta remembered when cooking how you fold your whipped cream in so I did that with my white. I folded it into the blue and poured.  Thanks for looking.

Bacon soap. I tried to marble it but didn't do so well but then this was just a test so I will try again. I do like it and it does smell like bacon.  Smiley Grin

Soap doing the funnel method.  It was such a messy ordeal but I like the results. I scented it coconut mango.

16  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Crazy cat and dog lady on: May 12, 2013 12:45:42 PM
These are from Urban Threads. I know several people these designs will be perfect for. lol

They stitch out pretty fast and easy. I used flour sack towels first to see how they stitched out and now I think I will try some fluffier towels.

17  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Polky dot laminated cotton tissue case on: February 19, 2013 06:13:30 PM
My boss suggested I make a water resistant case for taking on a boat or going swimming so I made this one. I used some laminated cotton. My machine was a little unhappy with the material but it was a trooper and suffered through the entire stitch out...while I was on pins and needles. lol

I am going to use this when I go to Hawaii in March to put my diabetic supplies in or maybe my iPod. I love the colors. Thanks for looking. Smiley

I made one of these for my sister and one for my niece. I know they will love them. Thanks for looking. Smiley

19  Halloween / Halloween Costumes / Deadmau5 is Alive on: November 08, 2012 05:02:03 PM
If you are into to Dubstep then you know who this is and if you aren't into Dubstep now you know. Smiley  The artist known as Deadmau5 wears this cool mouse head at his shows.  My son really likes Deadmau5 and asked if I could make him a mouse head for Halloween. So, I found a cool tute on Youtube and the rest is history.  I took a few pics of the process but go so caught up in making it that I stopped. Sad But, the end result is amazing and he had so much fun wearing it at his bands Trunk or Treat night. We also went trick or treating at our mall and he had a lot of fun.
We put in led lights for the eyes and they had a twinkling option so they were really cool at night.
Thanks for looking at my creation. Smiley

A large hamster ball is used for the main part and it has to be jigsawed into shape. Thanks to hubby for that part.

A couple ears made out of foam.

Starting to cover the ears with fabric.

NIght shot to see the lights.

Here is a video of him wearing it on Halloween at the mall.

20  SEWING IN GENERAL / Machine Embroidery: Completed Projects / Personalized dog cot on: August 25, 2012 03:32:35 PM
I decided to personalize my border collies bed cot. I first embroidered the fabric and then just added to the pvc pipe frame. Not to hard but looks awesome. She is the doggie on the left and the one on the right is her bff. They look almost identical. lol Thanks for looking. Smiley
