Wow! So many great new poppets! Love the mermaid and Rainbowbright and the cateyes are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your technique. I was trying to do something like that, but with just metallic acryllics and it just didn't turn out. I think maybe part of the trick is mixing while it's still wet? Or how did you get the natural looking flecks to turn out so nice looking? (I gave up and just went with one solid color.) Grrr, I really truly hope averyg's poppet makes it to her soon. I'm getting anxious - I hope she is well-received! Darn swap anxiety!

In other news, I finished her yesterday! Making one more thing today and then off she goes tomorrow. Just in the nick of time since I leave for NY tomorrow after work.

Started working on clothes last night. And finalized hair decision. Or did I? I thought I had it finalized and then last night I had the idea that she might look really great with one of the other yarns I tried on her last night. Bah! This poppet has been so indecisive!
