OoO It's sooooo cute !! You're kid doesn't know (yet  Wink )how lucky he is!!
seen this makes me want to learn more about crochet ( I've "mastered" the chain stitch, of course it's the only stitch  i know   Embarrassed . and I'm not giving up .

if you put on little details. I was looking for the tute  & cant find it , but the most "difficult is making the cone.Once you have it the rest is imagination

I like yours, but if you want them more like
the others , maybe try with Styrofoam ball
so you use less string and may at the end
of the hand and feet a wood bead glue to
the doll's skeleton to make it look rounder
