1  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Spumoni Toe-Up Thigh High Socks on: June 11, 2008 04:53:43 PM
thank you so much for all the wonderful feedback!!

Krafty_Kelly: the yarn is handspun and hand dyed 70% wool and 30% kid mohair from Wild Geese Fibres. It's wonderful:) Just one ball of it!! Great yardage
The website is http://www.wildgeesefibres.com/

amybarentt: your right magic loop looks scary and it isn't at all!!! it's just like knitting in the round.. all you have to do.. is divided your sts half.. half on one and the other on the other ndl.. that's it!! Feel free to ask me any questions about magic loop if you ever decide to try:)

thank you so much for all the wonderful comments! I wore them out the other day to knitting night and it was awesome! I love them so much and I recommend EVERYONE to make a pair for their own feet and leeegs:)

Magic-loop is really very easy, it looks weird but once you get them in your hands and try, it all makes sense! I definitely recommend it and I don't think I will ever go back to dpns for socks.

FO - finished object... it's really quiet weird! why object?? lol.. I never really thought about before until now. maybe FP .. finished project! lol

Thanks again for all you're comments:D

I knitted them toe-up, 2 at the same time, on 1 set of magic loop.

I love these socks SO much!! and I can't wait to wear them out.

You can go to my blog: http://illuminatingsoul.blogspot.com/ to read more about it and also see more photos!!

Comments are always welcome, thank you so much for viewing:)

anyone still working on their Thermal?? I'm currently just saving up to buy some yarn for this pattern.. after reading through (about 21 pages.. then i got inpatient.. lol) it seems like Knitpicks Gloss is the favourite! I can't choose from Cocoa, Pumpkin, Burgundy or Dusk. I'm worried that the dusk might have a blue tint to it.. hmm.. so many choices.. hehe
