11  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Jonna Scarf by Nora Gaughan on: December 02, 2007 05:23:37 PM
Is anyone knitting the Jonna scarf by Nora Gaughan?  It's in the Berroco Urban Layers booklet.  I don't get what happens after row 11.  Wah!  I don't see the pattern to the increases.

Feelin' lame-o.

12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Sweater Egg Cozies on: November 22, 2007 12:30:24 AM
The pattern is from Weekend Knitting.  Each tiny sweater took about two hours to knit.  The yarns I used were Noro Silk Garden, Jo Sharp 8-ply and Cascade 220.  The wooden egg cups are from Sur la Table.

15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Slipped Stitch Rib Socks From Sensational Knitted Socks on: July 05, 2006 05:32:00 AM
I love Charlene Schurch's book  Sensational Knitted Socks .  The author gives directions for all the beautiful patterns using four dpns, five dpns and two circs, my favorite method.  I used Mountain Colors Bearfoot yarn.

Okay, so it's garter stitch, but the yarn is really beautiful.  It's Karabella "Festival" knit on US 13s.

19  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Irish Hiking Scarf KAL on: August 31, 2005 05:48:10 PM
I'd never knitted cables before until last night, when I started the Irish Hiking Scarf.  It's really easy and fun!  If you can knit and purl, you can make this scarf.  In fact, it's soo simple that perhaps there's no need for a knit-along.  I'd still love to see what others come up with.  Anyone care to give it a go?
Jo Sharp 8 ply dk in "Ebony."

In the fall my dh will have a local t.v. talkshow on our PBS station.  I made some shirts for him to wear on air.  He looks cute in florals.
