1  New York / New York: NYC and Long Island / South Bronx Artists Market and Co-Op on: November 04, 2013 11:53:35 AM
Hi there!
I have recently launched a new market in my trendy little artists neighborhood in the South Bronx; we will also have an artists co-op, which offers affordable retail space for artists and crafters to exhibit and sell their work!

The next few weekends are free to participate, but on a first reserve basis; please feel free to email me directly with any questions! bxbazaar@yahoo.com

I want to concoct a "crafty" drink... I'll experiment tonight and see if I come up with anything good... Smiley

Hey! I craft every weekend with a couple of girls from my crafting group; the more the merrier!
We usually meet up in the U Street/Adams Morgan/Dupont area; anyone interested in grabbing coffee and crafting this weekend? Smiley

Also, here is the link to the group, if it is easier that way.

Hey! Welcome to DC! Smiley
I am from NYC, and have been here for about 2 years now.  I will be vending at The Usual Suspects, as well!
I will see if I can find some helpful links for you to start you off with your first craft show...
6  Ohio / Ohio: Northeast / Cleveland Yarn/Craft Stores on: March 12, 2008 03:13:48 PM
I have browsed this board, but have seen that there were not many responses/ suggestions for yarn/craft stores in Cleveland.  Is this still the case (as some of the threads are a year or more old), or is Cleveland still in need of a good yarn/craft store? Can anyone recommend any new/ good ones?

Where do you crochet? I could do a Saturday thing...

I'll be in Kalorama tomorrow; the Starbucks at 18th Street & Columbia Road, at 2pm.  I'd love some crafty company, so come if you can!

Hey Sixleaf Smiley
I've been looking for places to buy nice papers as well (definately checking out the already posted places!), one place that I go to that is affordable (and Metro accessable) is A.C. Moore, 2 blocks from the White Flint stop on the red line; it is only a 10-15 minute ride from Adams Morgan.
