1  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Earrings on: January 20, 2011 05:32:45 AM
Hey all,

I've got these sugar skull style earrings as a gift and even though I could just reconnect the earring hook back on, I don't think I'd actually wear them as earrings Roll Eyes  I think I'd be better off trying to turn them into perhaps a necklace?  Maybe continuing with some beadwork similar to what's on the earring already? Idk, what do you think?

2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Cracked terracotta pot on: April 22, 2007 08:30:45 AM
Was outside helping the parents spruce up the yard for sprinummer (yea, that's the new season here in NJ Roll Eyes) and saw this med. sized terracotta pot that they wanted to throw out b/c it was cracked.  I'd like to salvage it b/c it's just a hairline crack, otherwise it's in perfect condition (duh, right? Tongue).  If anyone has any ideas of what I could do with it, or at least what I could use to seal the crack?
3  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Old Lamps on: April 09, 2007 11:04:21 AM
My parent's have had their bedroom set since they got married so that's like 20-something odd years and they're finally planning to get new furniture (mostly my dad's doing)  They also have these (2) lamps that my dad is dying to get rid of but I'm desperately trying to find a way to fix them up so they could possibly be kept, I guess because I think they're so vintagey cool and I can't bear to just throw them away LoL.
Crap, I forgot to measure the height, but they're pretty tall even though they're meant to be put on end tables.  They have a 3-way switch, the first click (?) lighting up the bowl (?) on the bottom, the second lighting the lampshade and the third lighting up both.  Can't post pics yet so here are the links:
4  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Completed Projects / Humpty Dumpty Air Freshener on: March 21, 2007 01:06:01 PM
Not really a project per se but it kept me occupied here at work for a bit LoL Good thing for the the camera phone... Tongue
Just wanted to spruce up one of those boring ol' twist up air fresheners, so I drew little arms and legs, colored them with highlighters (lol) and taped em on.  Then I drew the crack and his pained face.  Just felt the need to share with you all Cheesy
