4  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Crafty Business Discussion / How do you expose (or would expose) your bags in a store? on: May 20, 2007 04:01:56 PM
Me and some friends will have a small store at the beach this summer and we will have there t-shirts, jewellery, clothes .. and my bags. And because the space is only 10 square meters we have to do our best with using the space we've got.

So, could you please give me some ideas of how should I expose my bags (I'm hoping they will be around 150 bags). I want them not to be very crowded but ocupating as little space as possible.

If you have any pictures of how you expose(d) your bags, or have seen bags exposed, pleeeease post them here or tell me about it!!  Smiley

thanks alot Kiss

6  CRAFTY BUSINESS ADVICE / Get Product and Website Opinions / Hemp coloured bag - Do you thing this is a good design for summer? on: March 21, 2007 04:55:10 AM
I found some really cheap hemp in a store that also has very good quality. So I bought 40 m (10 m per colour - black, green, red and yellow) not knowing exactly what I'm going to do with it  Roll Eyes  ... I make bags, so I thought maybe I can use it to make some summer bags.

Here's my idea of a bag:

What do you think? Do you like the colour combination, do you think this design will sell? Or maybe you could give me some ideas what else can I do with this fabric?

I have been making all kinds of bags lately and I decided to chose a few patterns to reproduce (make 10-15 pieces) The bags would have to be at the same time the most beautiful, practical, and, if possible, easy to make  Grin

Would you please help me choose ?   Roll Eyes

Here are the candidates  Grin :

Thank you!   Smiley

10  PURSES, BAGS, WALLETS / Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General / Cute little coloured messenger bag - first inner poket on: February 13, 2007 04:26:33 AM
I tried some inner pokets today. Until now I always thought it's hard but it was pretty easy, and it really emproves the utility of the bag. All my bags will have pokets from now on  Grin

Outside (I used a single color fabric for the body of the bag and the coloured fabric just for the front part.
