Here is a quick tutorial for a present I made for my Reisen-obsessed friend:

Ingredients: Reisens, muffin tin, plastic piece from spaceship happy meal toy (I'm sure you could find something to replace that though)

Fill muffin cup with Reisens:

Hot glue Reisens around plastic spaceship toy piece:

Steal cherry-resembling Christmas ornament from Mom:

MMM, Reisens...

3  rock n roll planner! in Paper Crafts: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by skaramouche on: January 09, 2005 08:16:55 PM
This one's easy, quick (under an hour), and pretty self-explanatory.  I just took a boring planner, collaged it up (rolling stone + glue stick), and that's about it.  I'm in the process of putting neon accents on the months Smiley

4  R0B0-C4KE! in Dessert by skaramouche on: January 01, 2005 11:52:25 AM
This was a cake me and battersea made for a friend's 18th. 3 boxes of cake, 3 tubs of icing, a whole bottle of red food coloring, and a couple rolls of tin foil I think?  R0B0-C4KE features a complete aluminum force field, 'Dan' in binary, and a  secret message in the face. 3 letters is a lot in binary Undecided

5  Elvis Vans, Marty Feldman canvas shoes... in Shoes: Completed Projects by skaramouche on: December 28, 2004 06:30:47 PM
A couple of Christmas presents, one that has yet to be given (if he finds this, I'm gonna spontaneously combust).  The first is a pair of canvas shoes I stencilled for Kayla (battersea)- I used fabric paint, then I bought the coolest ribbon I could find and used electrical tape for aglets:

The next is a pair of Elvis vans...honestly, the stencil was the best one I've ever made, but it turned out horrible when I put it on.  I pretty much Sharpied over most of the face where the white paint ran so much, and I got 'overspray' when I didn't even use spray paint! Doh.... Anywho, the gold is acrylic I think, and I sprayed clear Krylon over 'em. However, I don't think it's gonna work, because it says "use on any non-porous surface" and these shoes were very porous.  Ah well.

More shoe pics:

6  SELF Army Hoodie in Stenciling: Completed Projects by skaramouche on: December 27, 2004 10:46:41 PM
Here is a hoodie I made for my friend who really likes Self (which, for the record, is an amazing group that everyone should check out Grin). It's a KISS Army ripoff, but I'm just happy the whole gradient experiment came out right Smiley

7  Personalized drumsticks, yo! in Completed Projects by skaramouche on: December 19, 2004 12:34:29 AM
This was my drummer friend's Christmas present- I just bought a pair of sticks (I lucked out, they were 50% off for Christmas!) and woodburned his title of choice, Todd the Bod, into them.  Of course, you could go with any name....

8  I <3 Billy in Stenciling: Completed Projects by skaramouche on: December 16, 2004 01:01:27 AM
A Christmas present for a Billy Joel-lovin friend.  Stencilled w/ posterboard and fabric paint, the rhinestones are just stuck on with fabric glue. The letters are just freehanded with fabric paint Smiley

A cookie to anyone who can find the honkin' mistake- not a mistake in the stencilling part, but man, I'm really an idiot sometimes...

10  Rice Bag Camera Case in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by skaramouche on: September 04, 2004 10:12:24 PM
I had this awesome print rice bag and I needed something to protect my dear Cybershot, so voila, the rice bag camera case!  The material wasn't the burlap-ey kind I've been seeing in other posts, more of a woven plastic I guess? Anyways, It was just one long strip of material, I kinda folded it over and sewed two smaller strips into the sides.  I then put in a strip of felt for lining and attached some velcro.  Also sewed a little pocket for memory sticks in the back.  Sorry that's not the best tutorial, but here are some pics, it's not too hard to figure out...

The long strip, when I was halfway done attaching the smaller strips.

Now the two smaller strips are attached, I sewed on the piece on the right for a flap.

Case front.

Memory stick pocket.

Felt lining, velcro closure.

Sorry there's no pics of it holding the actual camera, I was going to make some, but then I realized that I'd have to USE the camera XD
