First to receive, last to send. Sad  Hopefully the post office won't route my package through Abydos and audio-astrophysics will get it in two or three days.  Since she's been so patient, here's a teaser pic:

Awesome stuff everyone!  Cheesy

I promise I haven't forgotten about this swap.  Long story short, we had a death in the family, and there have been other things going on.  But I'm aiming to send by the end of the week.  I want to thank audio-astrophysics for being so patient.

Earthbox info: http://earthbox.com/  An Earthbox is basically a large box with a water reservoir in the bottom.  You fill the upper portion with potting mix, add fertilizer, and plant whatever you want.  You water them through a small tube that leads into the reservoir, and you stop watering when water starts coming out of the drainage hole - so you can't over-water.

I have even more tomato flowers now (no fruit yet), and my cucumbers are developing nicely.  This evening, DH grilled up burgers, and put one basil leaf onto each patty (the leaves were nearly the same size as the patties!) - yum!

Pictures from my package! Woohoo!
First, the loot I sent to TheCraftyCat. I haven't seen her post pictures of it yet, so I figure this is okay?

I owe you a huge apology.  Undecided  Life has been crazy busy lately.  I'll see if I can't get some action shots posted in the next couple of days.  Thank you again - and I'm glad you like what I sent you!

OMG, I love the shirt with the kitty saying ""!! I took AP Stat this past year and often found myself doodling ing kitties during class...Tongue

I cracked up when I saw the shirt.  Then I had to explain it to my husband, who isn't very familiar with the Greek alphabet.  Hee hee, back when I took AP calculus, I doodled more than one picture of Snoopy on top of his doghouse, snoring out an ∫dZ Wink

Just wanted to brag about my veggies and herbs.   Cheesy  I have to grow everything in containers on my deck, otherwise the deer will eat them.  I have 3 Earthboxes and a bunch of window boxes... and I swear by the Earthboxes.

My cucumbers are flowering, and some fruit has started to develop.

My basil in the Earthbox:

This is, believe it or not, one basil leaf from one of the Earthbox basil plants:

And for comparison, some basil plants from the same flat, that I put into window boxes:

I'm also growing tomatoes, jalapenos (which have also set fruit), rosemary, chives.  We're going to have a lot of yummy garden goodies in the next month or so!

Thanks for looking!

I love this idea!  I did a similar swap a while ago and DH was very surprised when the package arrived and I handed it to him to open.

It seems I'm the lucky first recipient.  Check out the goodies I got from audio-astrophysics!

Jack's hat, a wristband with the Earth symbol, and a stamp with Teal'c's (ok, Apophis's) symbol:

A notebook (note the indicated planet):

And a plush Goa'uld symbiote:

(Hey... where did the symbiote go, and why are my husband's eyes glowing?)

Thank you so much!!  Cheesy

Haven't started crafting yet, but I have some ideas cooking.  Funnily enough, I came up with a great idea entirely on my own, then I checked my partner's wist and there it was!  So now I have to make it  Cheesy
