11  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Honeymoon Cardigan on: August 02, 2008 09:09:52 PM
I'm  currently working on the very same pattern (I've only one more sleeve to finish)!  Yours looks super pretty!  Love the berry color--and also love how yours looks kind of like a shrug.  Perfect for summer!   Cheesy
12  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Molly Headband In Cotton-Silk on: July 30, 2008 11:20:46 PM
This is my favorite headband: I've made several in different yarns.  This yarn is dk weight, cascade cotton/silk blend...verrry soft!!

13  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Slouchy Foliage on: July 30, 2008 11:18:17 PM
From Knitty, I knit the Foliage hat with worsted Malabrigo and gave it some "slouch".  I love this hat!

14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Christmas in July! on: July 28, 2008 11:59:30 PM
Those mitts look great, and I really like the hat--it's really cute and looks perfect on your friend!   Cheesy
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My New Awesome Nano (3rd Generation) Cozy on: July 28, 2008 04:20:38 PM
Okay. This sucker was a labor of love (emphasis on the "labor" part).  I made up the pattern (after several unsuccessful prototypes) as I went along.  Click on the thumb-nails for a larger photo.

This is what it started out like:

Here are the end results:

The back-side or "booty":

In contemplative repose:

I knit in Paton's wool (highly recommended for felting), applied iron-on appliques and a 30" knit i-cord.
16  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / My Furry Pink Natty on: July 28, 2008 04:02:04 PM
I know.  It sounds a little NC-17, huh?  The below is Knit and Tonic's Natty

I used Jo Ann's Angel Hair yarn.  This is a GREAT pattern: especially if you're new to cables.

Check out my Ravelry notebook for more info: I'm Quad Mom there too!  Smiley

I must say, that looks AMAZING for a first sweater.  Great work and design...impressive!

20  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Some stuff I knit during the winter on: April 10, 2008 10:56:27 PM
You're a very smart lady!  You instinctively know that crafting is a very good thing for you right now!  Crafting is one of the most beneficial, theraputic things you can do during times of stress and grief...keep up the good work!  Your knitted items are beautiful!
