1  CLOTHING / Designer Clothing Homage / Alexander McQueen Skirt - Help? on: January 10, 2007 05:34:43 AM

I discovered this skirt in the current February 2007 issue of Lucky Magazine (page 142) and I'm kind of in love. :]  'Cept its $388.00  "Ah... no."

I've already got some plaid flannel that I plan to use to sew the skirt myself... I'm going to bleach it a bit to give it a similar faded look...

I just can't seem to figure out how the pieces of the skirt would go together... It looks to me like its made up of drastically flared segments gathered up in a bubble hem... but its a little tricky to tell exactly what's going on.

Any thoughts on the matter would be greatly appreciated!

PS: Sorry about the poor picture quality... I searched forever online for a better photo of the skirt but to no avail... I ended up scanning it straight from the magazine.  :/
