ZaftigMomma's handmade paper is awesome... I love it! Grin

I put paper as the inspiration for august Smiley

I can't wait for August to put up the paper stuff I have been working on.

Plastic is a tricky topic but it is some baaad stuff for the enviroment... but of course in other ways it is so good too. I love my nalgene, use it everyday.

wow, very good info on melting plastic... I worry about the craftsters out there that are doing a lot of melting, reading about all that made my head hurt. Tongue

I am always looking for #6 plastic (I think that is the kind) for cheapo shrinky dinks.... not much luck yet

guess I will have to try my luck at cutting and gluing... that may be a good option for plastics that are gorgeous colors.

Plastic soda bottles...

you can make really neato self-watering planter things

( I am not really sure how to make links... they are in my wists in my signature... got lucky making that one I guess Smiley)

Also I experimented with the whole melting plastic caps in the oven... they would be awesome for necklaces, but this is probably a very bad thing to do for the enviroment. I know a lot of people will want to scold me for that one. Maybe boiling in water would be a better option...
Anybody tried that or know if it would also emit destructive fumes?

definetly destroyed many things "using" my moms paints... I was more or less just squirting them on everything thought would look good with some paint.
my younger sister drew and wrote on everything, including signing every card my mom got for her baby shower for me. Nothing was left undecorated... she is 21 now and not much has changed.

I also frequently got in trouble for playing with my grandmas antique spinning wheel... still tempts me. Smiley
