Greetings all!! Here's my take on Knitty's Space Invader Socks. Original pattern here: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring07/PATTbmp.html

These are my second colorwork socks, knitted from the toe up. I started them like three times to get what I wanted, but it was worth it. I used Patons Kroy and Socka sock yarns. I usually increase the needle size for the leg portion, but found that with patterns like this, it was too noticeable. Instead I added more stitches and barely increased the needle size. They're very comfortable and make me smile when I wear them.
