Very nice!!! And matching too!!! I like the Chinese-lantern looking ones.

I've made some stitch markers for knitting; they're fun. I also found some ring earrings that I put beads on and closed for use with larger knitting needles. I've also used the lever-back ear wires for crochet markers. For me, these work better than open ear wires or lobster claw clasps.

What a hoot!! Your flamingos are Great!!! Don't worry about the neighbors, if they think you're loony, they'll stay out of your way.

Very nice dishcloth and it works well in the variegated yarns. I'm impressed at your ability; I failed miserably at following the directions for these.

236  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Nave Socks (This Must Be The Socks) are finished! soon to be a FREE pattern on: June 24, 2007 07:08:33 PM
Your socks are quite wonderful! Congrats on your first design! The colors of some of the variegated sock yarns are delightful, but hard to use unless you're doing straight stockinet socks. The color runs in your socks work very well with the cables though. The little cablets are very  useful, especially if you don't want a lot of big cables down the foot or if you can't manage an even number of repeats.

Congrats on your moomin! He/she is very lifelike...hmm... Anyway, I'd never heard of moomins and I thank you for introducing me to them. I've checked out a couple of books from my library; the moomins' adventures are enchanting. I'm in love with the Hattifatteners [sp?], the little white sock-like creatures.

milksmom, wondering how to create little white sock-like creatures
