1  Re: Star Baby Blanket~Along in Crochetalongs by zenobia on: February 15, 2008 01:50:11 PM
Here's mine, pre-blocking. It's wool. My 3 year old niece LOVES pink!

I don't know how many skeins I used. A lot. I made it really big though since it's for a toddler/kid.

I didn't do this as part of the crochet-along, but i'm an attention whore:

I gave it to my niece for Xmas. She loves it. I love it. I want it back. Smiley It's probably the project I am the most proud of ever.

I keep meaning to make like 10 squares to send to Krystal.

From January 2006. My first time with Hemp.

From the website, the bangle bracelet with the same hemp. I'm going to wash it a few times to see how the hemp holds up. I put on some buttons for texture:

The Astrid Pullover... can also be found on the website. I don't actually like the way the sweater looks on and I used acrylic so it's not super soft, but I'm still proud of the work:

From my 2008 Crochet-a-day... I can't remember if I already posted these. If I did, sorry.

I made these for my niece's 5th birthday. She loves them.

I love this guy's hair:

The whole colorful family:

Bought this for the patterns. awesome value-by-the-pattern but the pages are now all out of order and  not much of a calendar.

This is for a 5-year old:

sorry, they're blurry

These are modified from a pattern in the calendar and i love them!

I wrote a pattern but haven't transcribed it to print yet...  He's about 4" tall. If you like him, I can type up the pattern... let me know.

From  Elisabeth doherty's "Amirugami!" using Moda dea's Cartwheel.

Sweet little booties from here: http://hometown.aol.com/fourleafcl1064/page69.html in some generic cotton WW.

Blanket for my sweet niece courtesy of Krystal (who I owe a square to that has been ready for months) https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=165466.msg0#new

And a fun little Star Blanket for my other niece based on this pattern: http://www.angelfire.com/va3/heartfeltangels/littlestarafghan.html

Used mostly Moda dea Cartwheel... just completed  and  need ing a LOT of blocking.

From Craftivity. Some modified skulls... a little embroidery... a little changing in colors. I molded using a diluted Modge Podge.

The rest are on my blog http://crochetzen.blogspot.com/

Thanks for looking. I've had so much fun.
