Superhooker, I really like those pages, very nice.

I received my second set of blue pages today from Joyous Bohemian:

Aren't they great!
It reads Air...with a padlock...locked

Pretty card craftydiane and I LOVE those geishas!

I rec'd my card from Colorfuldayz today:

*I'm here to tell you I can't scan straight to save myself*
It's just great. I love it!
She also sent some amazing fabric pieces and the beginnings of a great zetti card that she started and couldn't figure out how to finish.
I'll have to see if I can come up with something.

Awesome, I'm so very glad Mr. Zombie made it to you and that you like him. I do have a picture of him, I just loved him so much. He was originally a picture of Sean Penn in some movie. The only thing that remained of Sean is his tongue, haha. You are right I used acrylics and prismacolor pencils. Here he is in all his glory:

I'm terrible about getting in here and commenting on individual tags and feel so guilty grouping everyone together or singling someone out. But on a positive note, I've loved every single one of the tags in this gallery, just such...awesomeness!

Here's more from Gossamer_Gull:

I LOVE the bubbles over the faces and hope they show up well in the scan. Susi the elephant skin girl is a little freaky, but I like! Awesome fibers! I LOVE the bit of handmade looking paper my tag came wrapped in, that's very pretty and the sparkly way you did my name on the back of the envelope, I will be keeping that!

AND from Gingerquilts:

Wow, where to begin on this one. Heh, from the top it is. The fibers and ribbon, sooo colorful and fun. The pop tab on the top is beyond brilliant, I may have to borrow that in the future as I have TONS of the little buggars. The stitching, the fabrics, the little face, the beads...I can't put this one down and squealed when I opened the envelope. This is just GORGEOUS!

The one bad thing about this swap...it's "no more receiving fabulous tags for me." This has been by far my most favorite swap.
Thanks to everyone!

I received my second tag from Qazicat today. She said she's never done zetti before but it's very hard to tell from this example. I think it's just lovely.

And the backside...

Very nice tag indeed, I love it and the fibers are so sparkly and cool.

I swear I can not scan anything straight for the life of me... Tongue.

So I've finally got my tags done and they will go out in the mail tomorrow (will do the appropriate pm's when that happens) so I can now drool all over the absolutely fabulous tags that are in this gallery...wow!
There are so many that I absolutely adore that I don't even know where to begin.
Here are just some quick high lights of the tags that really grabbed me.
Not to say that I didn't like every single one of them. These are just some of my faves:

Foufi's vintage fashion tag, tres cool.
Phizzychick's turtle king is mighty fine.
WyoKrista's moose, wow I would really like to see a closer pic of that.
Colorfuldayz's bird and travel tag, very nice.

96  Re: Be an Artist or Clown (Graphic Warning) in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by FishStikks on: August 24, 2007 05:11:27 AM
*snicker* Scooby dooby doo
Thanks for the nice comments meanderingartist.

Okay, here's the first quick sketch I did. I carry around a small notebook at work and when I'm at break I like to doodle in it.

After discussing it with a friend at work, we both decided that the clown needed to be much scarier. I did this next one while under the dryer at the salon. I had a little more time to work on him there.

Pardon the red smudges, I was getting the gray touched up, lol.

I can't believe that people have already finished, let alone finished, sent and received! I haven't even really started on mine yet...
I did however receive from Rackycoo yesterday and then Craftster was down, sigh.
Here's my fabulous first tag!

And the back! Cuz it's fabulous too!

And I just want to mention out loud how beautiful Racky's handwriting is, so very pretty.

98  Be an Artist or Clown (Graphic Warning) in Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) by FishStikks on: August 23, 2007 05:03:21 PM
Yeah, This is slightly graphic but the warning truly should have read "CLOWN warning" but I didn't want to tip anyone off that they were about to witness a full frontal clown picture. You know the type that keeps you awake for days, staring into your closet, waiting for the big bulbous red nose to peek around the corner...Okay, wait, I'm creeping myself out now, lol.

Fair warning though...

This is a scary clown...

Hit the back button now...

I apologize, I couldn't help myself...

Last chance...

This (these) card(s) were done using acrylics and prismacolor pencils. I couldn't get the darn clowns out of my head. I had so much fun making him though. It was like exercising some demons. Couple of friends at work think I'm a tad "touched" now though.
I did include one shot of the back sides of the cards though. I thought they fit well with the front and should be included.

I hope no one has terrible nightmares though... Grin.

Hehe, I wasn't able to get back last night and get my cards from Tygir posted but here they are now, in all their gloriousness-ess.

My very first fabric ATC and it's so beautiful and happy.
Thanks again for a great swap and many thanks to our great organizer Wyokrista!

Mine are officially in the mail and I will officially send PM's to that effect but I also wanted to show the cards I got today from Little Green Dragonfly.

Thank You!
