11  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / 11 days by myself with cute fabric [Image Voluptuous] UPDATED! on: June 16, 2009 11:55:34 AM
My roommate went to visit her beau in Seattle for 11 days, so I got the whole place to myself, as well as two deliveries of cute fabric during that time.  We're moving at the end of the month, so I got really motivated and finished a bunch of projects I had laying around, as well as three dresses in as many days.  Enjoy!

I found this fabric at Hobby Lobby yesterday and snatched it up right away.  I'm pretty sure it's curtain fabric:

I love circus motifs:

I put the elephant right in the front!  I heart elephants:

In the same shipment as the red cake fabric was this great Michael Miller stuff -- I have the pink x black scallop print, too, but I'm going to wait on making a dress with it until after I move:

I think I liked it better on the website.  The diamonds throw me off x_x:

I forgot to put this one in here.  I finished it in May for a J-Fashion show in Chicago:

Photo by the fantastic Axel Frost:

A commission that I had for a couple years and finally finished.  Sent it to her a few months ago and it looks sooo cute on her:

Blouse and skirt I made.  The sleeves are detachable:

I also altered the shoes:

And the cute buttons:

A navy blue commission I did for a girl on Etsy:

It's based on a Lavender one I made:

I couldn't quite do what I wanted with this dress; there was only a half yard of the white and yard and a half of the black left.  It looks a little maid-y for my taste:

Detail of the crown appliques and ruffle:

I almost died when I saw this fabric because it's SO EFFING CUTE:

I guess I have a thing for fawns:

Here, little deer!  have a mushroom or some cherries!  Why, thank you, little squirrel buddy!:

I love Red Riding Hood anything.  Pink x black is one of my favorite color schemes:

I actually took the time to match up the pattern!

I love the bits of gold detail in the fabric:

I need to make a pink blouse to go with this skirt:

I also love print with cakes and candy on it.  I'm not quite done with it yet; the red ribbons aren't attached, and I plan on making fabric bows for my head and two pin versions to put on blouses or wherever:

Finished the accessories!  Action shot! (disregard part of my bellydancing costume poking in there):

Love critique and comments!
12  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / Just a Little Lolita! Deer Sweetie Dress, Cinderella Card Dress & More on: January 27, 2009 03:15:53 PM
I'm leaving for a short vaykay tomorrow, so I figured I'd leave you with a few of the newest pieces I've made.  I'm currently working on another dress (which I hoped to have done before the vacation, but meh, I was lazy) so look forward to that.  Unless specified, I have not made any of the blouses.

Deer Sweetie dress.  Fabric from superbuzzy.com -- it's kind of like canvas. Used no pattern.

14  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Loli-tized Rocket Dog Shoes on: December 15, 2008 02:14:10 PM
So on my quest to find winter boots, I found myself at Journeys.  I got a great pair of boots, as well as an adorable pair of brown Rocket Dog shoes on clearance.  I needed a brown pair of loli-style shoes, and I figured I could even dress 'em up a bit.

So here they are au natural:

I had a small spool of pearlescent off-white bead strand which was sorta "halved" so it could be placed onto a flat surface without stickin' out all funny.  I also used ivory ribbon.

<sorry I didn't rotate this one

Now they're all pretty!  Thanks for looking.
15  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / LOLita [image universe] ANSWERS REVEALED! on: June 17, 2008 03:37:10 PM
Well here's some more dresses and separates.

I altered the sleeves on this blouse and made the navy blue high-waisted skirt:

A fabric I found at Hancock Fabrics with little boys and girls riding carousels, and I made the blouse as well:

The only photo I have of the Skeleton skirt.  I found this on clearance at JoAnn's Halloween '06.  It's got little dancing skeletons in the black checks:

A dress designed by a customer, made my me.  Disregard the white marks on the front of the dress; I washed 'em off before I sent the dress:

A halter dress I made in a few hours last week sometime:

This fabric used to be a tablecloth.  I had most of it done some time ago, and it's been laying around forever, so I finally finished it this weekend. Bodice is pintucked:

An Ivory embroidered cotton JSK:

Wool Capelet, Bell-sleeve Blouse and Wool Pleat Skirt:

Baby Blue and Lavender Floral High-Waisted Skirt:

16  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: General / EGL? Why of course, it's my signature. [Image Heavy/UPDATE!] on: June 04, 2008 03:07:07 PM
Well the reason I haven't posted so long is that I've been getting more commissions (yay!) and I wanted to save up to have a big ol' post for all of you (because it's boring to look at just one picture, yes?).  So here's a bunch of stuff I've made within the last six months or so.

Here's a dress I made based off a Metamorphose pattern in Gosu Rori (Goth Loli) volume 3:

Action Shot!:

Hyperaction Shot!:

A Poodle Skirt and Shirred Blouse I made late last month some time:

The Teacakes dress I made quite a while ago.  I love the print:

A slightly better look at the fabric:

A beautiful black and white Toile print dress I made a few months back:

Back Shot:

Oh No! I'm flying away!

The apron I took off a Hot Topic costume, and it took me forever to make a skirt to put it on.  The blouse is Erin Fetherston.

Here are some photos done during the winter-time:

Underdress and Jumperskirt:

Ivory Floral Cakewalk Skirt:

Plaid Flocked dress based on the Angelic Pretty Dress pattern in Gothic & Lolita Bible Vol. 16:

A Lavender dress I made for a customer based on her design:

Navy Blouse and Ivory/Blue Cherub Skirt:

I found this gorgeous Jacquard fabric at Yellowbird in Lansing, IA:

17  CLOTHING / Shoes: Completed Projects / Wedding Shoes get flamed! on: February 17, 2008 06:46:01 PM
So I  bought these shoes for my friend's wedding in September.  I really loved the slingback peeptoe look, but I really don't wear white shoes.

So after the wedding I decided to give them a little overhaul, but I only had a few marker colors.  This is the best I could come up with:

The other back has a skull on it:

They'll look totally awesome with a dress I have yet to upload to craftster.

20  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Stenciling: Completed Projects / Crowned Skull, Daft Punk, and I heart Jared Leto shirts! on: January 02, 2007 01:25:37 PM
These are my first stenciled projects, and I think they turned out great!  I like the bleach stenciling a lot better than paint stenciling-it's quicker and it gives a really neat disheveled effect.

Here is my friend with the awesome Daft Punk shirt I made for him:

The skull wearing a crown shirt I made for myself:

The I Heart Jared Leto shirtI made for my friend. The nose got kinda messed up  Sad

tell me what you think!
