They're simple and gorgeous! Or simply gorgeous? Grin
I love the pair on the 4th photo, it's my favorite.

This is so amazing! From the first photo, I honestly thought you bought some of those fabrics with space photos printed on them. Thanks for sharing your process, it's very interesting.

I love how you accessorized it too! the necklace is so beautiful, you should make a post about it. And I'm suffering from a severe case of boot-envy right now xD

Whoa, that's a gorgeous effect! I can't decide which one I like the most! *-*

What a nice idea! I like how you left them loose inside the box.

Back in school, I had a lot of friends who collected movie tickets, they would store them all in their wallets and show it to other people xD
25  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: what should i do with this? on: March 28, 2012 09:40:49 PM
Wow, that looks great!
I think it would look nice either painted or covered in comics, it really depends on the rest of your bedroom. It could be nice as well to combine the two - comics on the top of the table, the rest painted in a solid color, for example. Black or another dark color would compliment well the bright colors comics usually have.

They are very pretty, I really like the contrast of the "old" technique with the "modern" colors. Smiley

It's so adorable! I love how its feet hang out of the circle Cheesy

What kind of base did you use to embroider this? Fabric, felt...?

thanks! I used a piece of fabric i cut from a duffel bag that was ripped. the benefit of it was that it had a fairly large weave and was a strong fabric.

in case you wanted to make one: After you make the beaded circle, glue a ring base onto it and cut out a circle of fabric for the back. Cut a slit in the back piece and slip it over the ring hole and glue it down. this way the back piece covers all the threads from the bead embroidery. Smiley

Thanks for the tip, you really made me want do make one! Grin

OMG, that's so cool! I like your dino better than the ones in the link, because the shape of the leaves matches its spine.

I love succulents too, for the same reason as you Cheesy
