34  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing Machines: Discussion and Questions / sewing machines! on: January 06, 2008 11:12:24 AM
ok so basically i have a very old antique machine, it should probably be in a singer sewing machine museum. however i still use it. but the problem is every time i am in the middle of sewing a garment, it brekas, like to the point where we have to take it to a repair shop, about 1:30 away from my house, plus it is upstairs and in a table, so it hard to get down from there. needless to say, usually it takes about a month ofr two to finally go get it into the shop, the shop is slow, so another month, and then we end up picking it up fairly late, so that is another month. SO, I have decided i want my own sewing machine, in my room, and i would like a futura ce-100, however i was wondering if peopel had problems with them, or if you have a different sewin machien that was afforadble and reliable, and possible does embriodery.

please post you sewing machien and any good or bad things about it
