It's a big long sleeve shirt into a small puffy sleeve shirt! So amazing! I've never seen one like it!! Wink Wink

So, I was going through some of my mom's clothes that were on their way to the battered women's shelter and found this long sleeve frumpy purple top (probably 10 years old) and saw potential in it.
So, I took it in about 3-4in. on both sides and made the sleeves into puffy delicious. I really really like it! I am proud of it and wore it to the grocery store. I am so glad that finally figured out how to make puffy sleeves so I think I will try this again. It's so easy!

It is an old 1967 McCall's Quickie pattern that I shortened and changed the collar. I will take a picture of it and give you the # Kpuppy so you can make one. I am finished another vintage pattern today and bought another one last night. I just love vintage patterns and it really is funny how things come back in style all the time.

summerthyme, I love being girly too! I lived with my bf for a year and I just got my own place so now I can have bubble baths and wear dresses and just be girly. I love it!

Thanks so much! I love the blue one too! It sold sadly, (I am saving money for a vacation) BUT I am making a kelly green one for myself! I added a zipper on the floral one because it was so hard to get on and off. I did a really good job on the zipper, I am so proud of it! I made another mini dress and I will post it tomorrow. It is a dark purple shift dress. Very mod!
love, peach
