3  CLOTHING / Clothing: Completed Projects: Reconstructed / Re: AME..Men's L to ..Mary sized on: February 25, 2007 08:54:53 PM
ohhhhh boy. there are at least 7 t's in my closet that need this treatment.
seriously... back when I had money (before college) and bought shirts at shows... I thought it was cool to wear a men's Large?
I'm not large. at all. like... my senior prom dress (last thing I bought with a real size, 3 years ago, HAH!) was a 2. What was I thinking?
I blame it on growing up in the 80's/ early 90's.

OH BOY this makes me laugh. I was discussing doing this very project last night with my mother... who pretty much thought i was ridiculous and definitely the only person in the history of the world to think boots from a sweater was a rational idea.
YAY thank you for proving me sane Smiley

I love pink.
I also love the button/pendant... a lot.

gorgeous... I predict that in less than 5 minutes I'll be digging through my closet looking for leftovers from a few beading projects... I always end up with like 5 leftovers every time I buy specifically for a project, what a pretty way to put them to use!

9  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Kiln crafts? on: January 13, 2007 06:35:43 PM
I recently acquired a kiln... any ideas on things I can make/do with it, on top of the usual firing clay?

If you can get your hands on a kiln you can melt them into cutting boards, candle holders, or spoon rests:) Know any potters?
My studio mate does this on occasion. It's wicked cool.

OH MAN! My Dad and I just finished rebuilding a kiln. Does anyone have more info on how to do this? (or any other exciting uses for a kiln, beyond clay and such?)
