11  KNITTING / Knitalongs / Re: Venezia from Interweave Winter 06 by Eunny Jang on: May 02, 2007 05:39:45 AM
I think it must be fairly difficult to knit this and not have it come out looking fabulous. The last one posted looks so... jewelly.
12  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / Re: Brisbane, QLD: Craftsters go to Spinners Weavers & Fibre Artists Craft Open on: April 26, 2007 05:12:16 AM
I think there'll be some kind of handspun scrum. A handscrum? Anyway, I'm ridiculously excited to see some spinning. I told myself I wouldn't go down that path, but it's too late.
13  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: Gray cashmere monkies on: April 26, 2007 04:01:06 AM
They're gorgeous. Where can I find a pattern for such a monkey?
14  KNITTING / Knitting: Completed Projects / Re: I'm a knitting fool! (VERY IMG Heavy) on: April 26, 2007 03:54:12 AM
I must know where you found that fantasia pattern! it is too cute.
15  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: Counting rows. on: April 15, 2007 07:23:13 AM
I do either one of those things every project. Sometimes it just doesn't take.

Thanks.
16  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Counting rows. on: April 15, 2007 03:02:25 AM
I'm knitting something in stocking stitch and lost count of the row I'm on. My ridiculously simple question - If I am counting the rows knit thus far, do I count the stitches on the needle as a row? i.e, if I need to knit 18 rows and I have 17 below the needles and one row on the needles, am I done? I have a feeling it is, but I'm confused after a cabling mishap that left one a little scrunched.
17  CITY GUIDES FOR CRAFTSTERS / AUSTRALIA / antipodean online craft retailers on: April 07, 2007 12:57:47 AM
I'm sure everyone here has a happy collection of Aussie online shops bookmarked. I think everyone benefits if you share, don't you?

So give up your links! I'll edit them into the first post to make a resource for humanity's future.

Most of mine are all knitting-related, as I am knitting-related, but all kinds of shops, please.

One magic day, when uni doesn't conspire to ruin my fun, I will be there. But uni just loves to ruin my fun.
19  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / Re: how do you let a muggle down nicely when they ask you to knit something? on: April 06, 2007 11:58:24 PM
I must be an oddity, because I love being asked to knit something for someone else. Almost everything I have made is a gift, and I love knowing when I knit something that it's going to someone I like. Also, when someone else pays for supplies it is always good.

I have such a thing. http://snakefaced.blogspot.com/

It is, unshockingly, about the knitting.
