I bought a white and beige herringbone fabric for the newsboyhat, made it up without testing the pattern and it was to large for me.  Embarrassed

I have to try again, i have fabric fore one more, but I'm not in the mood now and January is almost over. I'll get back to it later, will be great to have in the spring.

Nice work everyone!

Last year was a disaster when it comes to sewing, and i usually love making clothes for myself. Count me in!

For January I'm thinking of sewing an newsboyhat, but i also like the fascinators...  fabric is no problem for any of those projects so I'll see what i find first.

Oh, so cute!

The strawberry fabric is perfect for that top. It was necessary for people in the 1940s to save and reuse material for for new garments, so its both typical and looks great for that style.
10  IMAGE REPRODUCTION TECHNIQUES / Other Image Reproduction Techniques: Discussion and Questions / Re: Metal plates - can I use these for printing? on: November 29, 2008 09:05:12 AM
To get even a blockprint out of these plates you probably need a printingpress, metalplates are just to flat for anything else.
