This is my first thick and thin. It's sooooo soft. I have no idea what to do with thick and thin. For now I guess I'll just stroke it. Wink

*Warning do not read this whlie you're eating breakfast!*
This yarn is sort of disgusting to me yet strangely beautiful. We came back on the ferry from our vacation. 9 1/2 hours of rough waters. I had this great Idea to get a fancy tangerine-blueberry fusion smoothie at this little coffee shop. Needless to say after the motion sickness subsided I was inspired. I used the ultra fuzzy pic so you get more of what I saw. Lips sealed

Knitwit- I love the pink ,it's too pretty.
I also dig lichen, we have so much lichen here on the little island. It looks even better by the skein, lol.

This is Under the Neon. I was inspired during my vacation by all of the coloured lights in the big city.

I really loved making this one. I love vacations. Grin My favorite bit are all the little knots of colour throughout.

This is Disco Lights. 88 yards of loveliness. She's a wool, silk angelina blend. I love this picture forgive the weird glare. I still suck at taking photos. Roll Eyes

I love pincurls! I usually set my hair about once a week. It lasts for about 3-4 days then I am usually ready for a change and blow it out straight. *Warning* these are the crappiest pictures so bear with my horrid fuji camera.

I love Portifino Corridor! The colours are very similar to the picture.
                          Here's my weekly offering:
Unified is an s twist spun single of camel, quiviut, buffalo, alpaca and wool. I absolutely love this skein it blended together so much better than I had expected.

27  Re: Pencil skirt with a buzz(no peeking if you are in the historical swap!) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ivycircle on: April 11, 2007 09:03:07 PM
Sorry about the crap pictures. My swap partner loved her pencil skirt! Her pictures are much better than mine.

The bees are machine embroidered down her right hip.
I drafted the pattern but I bet you could find a freebie on the internet. I am so glad she liked it. Hooray my first swap is over....I loved it! I'll have to sign up for another now. Smiley

28  Marilyn's Apron in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ivycircle on: April 07, 2007 08:40:14 PM
This is a Marilyn Monroe inspired apron for my friend Theresa. I appologize in advance for the shakey camera work. I suck with this damn camera! Roll Eyes

The center pocket has canaries embroidered on it. They are her favorite bird.

30  Pencil skirt with a buzz(no peeking if you are in the historical swap!) in Clothing: Completed Projects: General by ivycircle on: March 28, 2007 04:30:25 PM
I made this for my swap partner. She chose the fifties a la' Audrey Hepburn so I think she needs a pencil skirt. The skirt is charcoal wool flannel with some braided trim at the waist:

I also added some honey bee embroidery (one of the things on her havorite list)

Do you think she'll like it? It's my first swap. Undecided
