1  Fiber Friday September 12 in Spinning: Completed Projects by ivycircle on: September 12, 2008 04:21:37 AM
Holy cow I'm first! I have really missed Fiber Fridays and all my yarn friends.
This week I made Cocoon a blend of space dyed wool in mulberry and a soft yellow with slubs of butter colored silk.

I can't wait to see your latest and greatest. Happy Friday! Grin

Hello everybody, this week I spun twilight, 156 yards of black Merino Wool, plied with some silk I dyed last month. I love this yarn. Fiber Friday always gives me an incentive to put my skeins out there. Thanks Craftster! Grin

Jadzy- that's pretty impressive for you first Fiber Friday. Great Job. Lufah, I can't believe you made a 6 ply yarn. I really love the colors. The Orange and purple look great with just that bit of grey.
This week I made Manic, a super bulky rainbow and hot pink yarn. It's blindingly bright, lol.

I always look forward to Fiber Fridays!
Gina- I'm dying to see sherbert spun up. Maybe next Friday? Grin

Pmpkn- Welcome to Fiber Fridays. That's a really even third skein.

Lamina- Sea Beast turned out great. What will you make with it?

This Friday I made Stalactite. It's a blue, purple and olive green wool, plied with baby alpaca in knots. It's a teensy skein at 37 yards, but I had a great time making it!

My favorite yarn so far is subloke's Bob! It's pretty drab outside this time of year in Alaska and I love that shot of color.
I spun this one for the photo spin-along It's 86 yards.

This one is my favorite. Funfetti is 86 yards of merino plied with purple and blue silk. It's soooooo soft!
