1  Re: The Little Visitor Swap Round 3! (Signups CLOSED, Sendout 06.09) in ARCHIVE OF SWAPS THAT ARE TOTALLY FINISHED by Princess Dukki on: April 24, 2006 09:20:15 AM
Me and Peeps have just been relaxing these past couple of days... nothing but rain outside since he got here!
I even found him his own chair, he's not too fond of the color, but he says it'll do (you know, until I can get him a better one). Here he is taking in some anime with us:

First sendoffs were Friday! Yay!
How many of you have sent? I have four people marked down... remember to let me know how you're doing! And those of you who PM'd me about sending a day or two later, no worries! Just keep me updated!
Thanks everyone! Anyone else wanna show off their little traveler? This is Frankie getting ready to leave:

3  Re: Cell Phone Cover... Strikes Back! in Crochet: Completed Projects by Princess Dukki on: July 10, 2004 02:11:38 PM
By the way! Pun Crash! There's a new crochet site that's looking for some tutorial submissions. Would you be willing to submit your tutorial?

Wooahh... Thank you Pinklightning06! I just read the requirements. Since it's not a technical pattern I don't know if they will take it, but I am definitely gonna send it to them for review. I've only been crocheting for about a month, so this really makes me feel good about myself... Again THANK YOU!

I was going to suggest that!  The tutorial was awesome.  I made a monkey for my brother's phone already, and I'm gonna get started on a cover for my mom's flip phone using Pinklightning06's tutorial (which, by the way, is very comprehensible Smiley).  It's too warm and humid to crochet or knit right now though...  irk.  I hate not having air conditioning.

Oh, and here's a picture of the monkey cover I made if you care to have a look:

(It has a tail! Whee! Oo oo!)

4  Re: Ever crocheted a skirt? in Crochet: Discussion and Questions by Princess Dukki on: June 25, 2004 09:26:15 PM
I crocheted a skirt...  it wasn't a granny square skirt, it was just double crocheted.  I think it was pretty cute though, although I haven't been able to wear it yet (haven't finished the lining).

Here's a picture, if you're interested:

I want to take a better one when I'm done lining it, of me actually wearing it...  I find handsewing so tedious, so I haven't brought myself to finish it yet.

5  Re: Punk Rock Backpack in Projects from the Stitch 'N B**ch Books by Debbie Stoller by Princess Dukki on: June 25, 2004 09:12:32 PM
I thought I'd share my completed backpack.

My b/f was impressed with it, he praised it for half an hour after I showed it to him (and I soaked it up like the little sponge that I am Wink).  It was sweet, cuz he was trying to make up for the trouble I had with the intarsia at first (I had to re-start, because I didn't understand SnB's intarsia directions).
