1  Luna's radish earrings in Trinkets and Jewelry: Completed Projects: General by TallTeenTurtle on: June 11, 2009 08:39:32 PM
I love Luna Lovegood in  Harry Potter and her unusual sense of fashion. I made a pair of these using glass seed beads and wire. Did something similar to how you make those beaded lizards. I made and attatched the leaves separately and stuck the whole thing together with a crimp bead.

2  book to wallet in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: Reconstructed by TallTeenTurtle on: March 23, 2007 08:19:21 AM
The first thing I say when people see this is "IT WAS ALREADY DEAD!" My old copy of the forth Harry Potter book feel apart and I lost a couple chapters. I didnt want to just throw it out.

First I took out the pages and folded them. Then laminated them in packing tape and wove together. I put scotch tape on to keep the "fabric" I had made together as I cut the sides and taped them with packing tape. I folded and taped it into the wallet shape I wanted, then took off the scotch tape. I used velcro to fasten it closed, and part of the cover to decorate.

I hope you guys like it. This is my first project post, Ive been lurking for a while now.
