1  Dragon Painted Shoes in Shoes: Completed Projects by firepixie on: May 29, 2008 10:48:26 AM
My friend bought some dull white and kinda ugly shoes (they were like sperry top siders crossed with slip on vans)  so after a few well placed comments on how much cooler i could make them he allowed me to paint them (and cut off the really ugly lacing stuff that made them look like top siders, bleh)

so he is really into dragons and loves "girly" colors like pink and purple...  He wanted chinese dragons and since this was done on a whim one night i didn't research and just went off what i knew...
enjoy!  comments always appreciated

big pic of the shoes:

sorry its dark, theres not very good light in the dorms....

Detail of the design:

and sorry they're both sideways, for some reason any pic i take on my camera phone turns sideways on my computer......

2  SUPER EASY AND SUPER CHEAP BONDAGE STRAPS!!!! NO SEW!!!! (img heavy) in Completed Projects by firepixie on: July 20, 2006 11:48:24 AM
ok.....well i was looking through my pile of junk the other day and found a pair of black shoelaces, a pair of white shoelaces, a skull shoelace, and a checkerboard shoelace.....just for kicks i decided to see what they looked like as bondage straps....AND THE LOOK ALMOST EXACTLY ALIKE!!!!

to prove this i wore these shoelaces to rockfest 2006 in springfield , mo.   (btw if you have or know someone who has pics of rockfest please tell me....i forgot my camera)   and no one even noticed.....one guy asked me where i got them and when i pointed out they were shoelaces he complimented me on them.....so yeah....

heres pictures:

tummy pudge is not a crime!!!!!  besides its hard not to pudge out a little when bending over to take a picture of your front....

hope you like em!

okee everyone.....this thread has kinda died since i hadn't been able to work on these recently but yesterday i got my shit together and made a prototype:

i hope you like it....its just out of two old t-shirts, size womens medium.
i'm thinking of selling it.....because of the ties it adjusts size easily....its not of best quality though...being a prototype......

whenever i get the whole guards shirts made i'll take a pic of everyone wearing them....

the red crosses over the yellow and ties, and the yellow crosses over the red and ties....but i'm trying to figure out how it will be held together.....like if i leave some underneath all the overlaps can i just sew one straight line up the front???   and should i do the back exactly the same as the front???

and since its apperently not showing up on this connection...here the URL if you would be so kind as to look at it:  https://www.craftster.org/pictures/showphoto.php?photo=52662
