261  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Re: What to do with coffee when you just need the big can it comes in on: December 02, 2006 08:43:01 AM
Groud beans work awesome on clogged drains.  Pushes the crap right through!

I actually know someone who uses French Vanilla coffee beans in one of her home made potpori's.  I know a lot of people who love the smell of coffee and believe it or not, I heard it was a relaxer.  Maybe get some recipes for potpori and scatter some grounds through them.  Even beans would probably look nice in a bowl of potpori.

I once made a gift for a friend with a chinese food box.  I decorated the box in laces (I bought it at I Party, so it had no writing on it) and I made her some cute chopsticks decorated in beads for her hair.  I also included a small notebook filled with fortunes for each day of the year (that I googled).  She loved it!

What I don't donate, I usually tear apart and use in all sorts of things.  I enjoy creating fabric pages of my scrapbook and I use a lot of denim (preferably the stretch stuff) to cover notebooks and what not.  All kinds of fabrics can be used for anything!  How about sewing it all together to create a wall hanger or a neat curtain?

I saw a site online for this and it looks awesome!  Any ideas on where I can buy it online?  There weren't any sites to purchase or to read more into it

This mag is amazing!  I have a few issues and just subscribed.  I love when they have the sections showing you how much it costs to buy vs. to make...awesome mag!  I recommend it to everyone who is interested in all kinds of crafts!

267  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Business Cards??? on: December 01, 2006 03:58:23 AM
I have about 500 old business cards stacked at work from venders, etc.  Is there anything I can do with them?  I was thinking glueing them all together for a backing for my collages so the background is all colorful from the different cards.  Any other ideas?!  Thanks!

I notice that no one posted anything from Worcester County much.  I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that would be interested in getting together and kind of "partnering up" in crafts. I'm into all sorts of things and am interested in starting a business hopefully.  Let me know!
