21  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / Plastic Canvas on: December 27, 2006 11:49:21 AM
I got some black plastic canvas to make an earring holder and I have some left over.  Anyone have any ideas?
22  NEEDLEWORK / Needlework: Discussion and Questions / What, you have to count?!? on: December 15, 2006 12:35:09 AM
Ok so maybe this sounds a little weird but...Ive always wanted to try cross-stitch and when I was at the craft store and saw that they had cross-stitch ornaments for only $1 I got excited and picked out the one I liked best.  I got it home, ripped open the package and realized that the pattern looks like Greek to me  Tongue and that its counted cross stitch. Hmm Im not sure if this project will get done any time soon  Lips sealed
23  MISCELLANEOUS TOPICS / Stitch And BOTCH / lets try that again... on: December 14, 2006 11:55:19 PM
My Mom really is obsessed with Wyoming and cowboys :p so for her birthday I wanted to make her a cute shirt.
I had an iron on transfer and a cute white t-shirt.   I thought everything was centered so I ironed it on.
Ha  I was wrong!  I tried the shirt on and it was a little too low and over a bit, just enough to drive me crazy.
Lucky for me the pack came with 2 transfers and I had another shirt.

Hmm I think I should take the messed up shirt and make a nice throw pillow Grin
