1  KNITTING / Knitting: Discussion and Questions / What is this type of yarn called? on: April 27, 2010 06:43:51 PM
Sorry if this is in the wrong topic..!
Hopefully I can buy this type in the States too, lol
2  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Touhou: EX-Keine on: December 29, 2009 03:38:15 PM
Uploading this here for the sake of putting it somewhere, lol. The base pattern is by BabyLondonStar: http://babylondonstar.deviantart.com
This here is Keine Kamishirasawa from the computer game, Touhou Project. She's a were-hakutaku, and I made her hakutaku form :U Picture: http://bit.ly/EX-Keine

Her green highlights are acrylic paint

I tried to do a slight gathering stitch on the white part to make it slightly ruffle, though it doesn't really show, haha

Her bloomers keep her dress poofy XD Also that's probably the bestest bow I've ever tied

Happy Holidays!

3  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Touhou plush: Sanae Kochiya on: August 21, 2009 04:29:43 PM
Huwhaohuhuahoha I haven't posted here for like....two years lol. My first year of high school starts next week fffffffffffff-
Another plush from the game Touhou Project, Sanae Kochiya, a shrine maiden:

Soooo here they are

^Front. My wallpaper is Gilbert from Hetalia hurr hurr

^Ummm...back lol

^Her hair accessories. On the back of the frog one is a safety-pin for attachment, and the snake one is bendable (please ignore the fact it looks like a creepy tapeworm lol)

^Details. The frills are ribbon that took me way to long to crease and sew on =_=

The original pattern by http://babylondonstar.deviantart.com/ was bigger, until she uploaded a revised size, so Sanae is smaller than Cirno ^ ^;;

^With Suwako..that ribbon is from a chocolate store here XD

^With Suwako's hat.

Aaaand that's all, thanks for looking! (My deviant art page is here: http://kyuubiness.deviantart.com/)

4  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Felt Cake w/Choco frosting on: January 07, 2009 07:10:34 PM
A couple days before Christmas, my friend from Billings (MT) e-mailed me that she sent my present already.

OH CRAP. I didn't even start on working on her gift yet! So I had spent all day working on this:

Found some cute polka-dotted ribbons

and made some icing that needs constant primping to look ok

hot glue-gunned(?) on the store bought doily Tongue

Also I haven't posted on anything in like year on here, so uh. Nice to post on here again  Wink
5  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Completed Projects / Cirno from the game Touhou on: July 28, 2008 06:30:13 PM
Surprisingly this is my first post in the sewing section because I sew alot..This is also the first time that I tried making a human-ish character. I used http://babylondonstar.deviantart.com/ awesome pattern which was surprisingly easy for me to follow (except the feet part was kinda confoosing >.>).
The story is that I bribed my brother to wash the dishes for me and in turn I'd make him a doll from the game Touhou XD
He chose Cirno:

Aand here she is

^Ironed on eyes and mouth. You can see her bloomers XD

^Dress details. Puffy sleeves were fun to do >w<

^Back. She has a huge bow, lol.

^Wing details. Blanket stitched plastic thing on to make it look shiny Tongue

Extra pics:

Thanks for looking! Cheesy
6  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / Amigurumi chihuahua (w/ link to tutorial) on: February 17, 2008 05:16:10 PM
This is my..uh 4th project actually. I gave my other ones away to friends and family. I used some multi colored yarn but I ran out for the legs so that's why it's kinda mis matching  Wink I'll post better pictures later.

Sorry the images are pretty bad..

^ That's his butt

^ I accidently sewed his head looking down but I'll make a quick story about it:
Hayabusa was always careful. He always looked down when ever he walked because of an unfortunate accident involving a tooth pick, a Red Bull, and an aardvark

^ There's my cat again heheh

AND we can't forget about the tutorial (cuz that's what you came here for >_>...):
(the original website is down but the PDF is still there, just download it)

7  CROCHET / Amigurumi: Completed Projects / First project:Amigurumi Hamster!! on: January 06, 2008 03:58:19 PM
Ok, so I've always wanted to make amigurumi things because they were sho cute! But I stuck to sewing. Well, a couple of weeks ago, I finally got a crochet book (Mr. Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful XD) and started with Sebastian le Hamster. Oh, and this is my first REAL topic, I'm more of a lurker  Wink

He's relaxing here...

(cue western music)

My cat with him, heheh

ANYWAYS My mom taught me how to crochet, but I had to start all over again so many times (I keep going under one loop, not both loops  Tongue) I'll post more of my projects later....I'm only 12 by the way..

8  PAPER CRAFTS, SCRAPBOOKING & ATCs (ARTIST TRADING CARDS) / Paper Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Cheap way to make stickers? on: September 20, 2007 07:07:46 PM
I searched around and the Xyron sticker maker is kinda expensive..Is there paper that you can print things on and stick it on stuff?  Huh
9  TOYS, DOLLS AND PLAYTHINGS / Toys, Dolls and Playthings: Discussion and Questions / Pug Pattern from book on: May 02, 2007 05:26:50 PM
Can anybody post the pug pattern from this book? Thanks!

10  HOME SWEET HOME / Pet-Related Crafts: Discussion and Questions / Cat hat pattern? on: April 19, 2007 04:20:01 PM
I have to embaress my cat just a little bit more Tongue, and I can't really find a hat pattern. Anybody know where to find one? (I'd prefer a sewing pattern, but crochet/knitting is ok)
