very cute!!  I'm going to make a purse from some quilted fabric so I think I'll do something similar with the scraps.

Thanks for sharing!

I love sushi creations!  This is probably the best one I've seen yet.

I need to make my sushi "candy" sometime and post that... and eat it too!

Absolutely adorable!  Do you have an online source for these projects?

I love your goal to wear more handmade... I'm trying to do the same!

149  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Re: Sewing Machine Needles Questions on: January 02, 2009 06:11:41 PM
Hmm... all of my needles have their size etched onto them!  I usually discard the needle after each project, so needles only stay in my machine during a current project.  I record in my project notebook what needle I used, so I know by referring to that which one is in the machine in case it isn't marked.

As far as getting rid of old and broken needles... I usually just throw them away with all of my scraps during each project.  I usually find a cup or something in the trash to put the needles into to be safe.
150  SEWING IN GENERAL / Sewing in General: Discussion and Questions / Machine Needle Organization on: January 02, 2009 06:05:12 PM
I just wanted to know, how do you organize your machine needles?  Do you keep them in a drawer somewhere or do you have an organizer for them?

I want to collect everyone's ideas before I make something for my mom and myself.  We both take our machines to different places, so keeping our needles in a drawer isn't an option.  We have those rolling sewing machine totes, but I'd like to have something else for the needles that I can put into the tote.

Any links or pictures much appreciated!
