34  purple purse, yay! in Purses, Bags, Wallets: Completed Projects: General by pertelot on: March 10, 2007 12:26:09 PM
after realizing i really needed to get a present for my friend whos birthday is monday, and realizing how little money i had left, i decided to make her present.  I took out some purple fabric that i had... started with the Jordy bag tutorial, and just had some fun with it.  It went together well, the only mistake i really made was i put the lining inside out...like usual... but otherwise it turned out good. I just hope she likes it!  Cheesy

35  need help with quilt colors in Quilting: Discussion and Questions by pertelot on: February 04, 2007 02:49:00 PM
when i had first started making this quilt, i really liked the colors. later my mom and sister admitted how they thought the colors really didnt look good together. i got worried because i know my matching skills really arnt too great. it worried me enough to stop working on it. any opinion would be appriciated, good or bad.... its not too late to change colors now.

heres one without the flash

This is a wall hanging i had made a few years ago as my first quilt. its just the quilt top because i never quite got around to quilting it so its just the top. i just loveeee the hummingbird fabric so i went back to the store and got it for the back too, once i finally get the ambition to quilt it.
