2  REUSING/RECYCLING/RECRAFTING / What the heck can I do with THIS? / beads, jewlery, plastic braclets.. on: December 22, 2006 11:56:42 AM
I've got tons of this, and I have no idea what to do with it. I've got lots of old jewlery, braclets and stuff.
I really dont ever wear it, so theres no use in making new jewlery from it. Anyone got any ideas?

I think I ues size 3mm on the black one, but on the pink one i use 4mm. The yarn is just plain 100% wool, but I think you could make it in whatever you like.

And if you want it smaller, just cast on less stiches. Smiley

I used a pattern a friend of mine made, but really its very easy.

On the black one i cast on 21 st, and knitted moss stich until it measured about 6cm long.
Then for the one in the middle of the bow i cast on 4 st, and knitted 1k, 1p until it measured about 3cm long. Then I just sewed it up together, and voil!

So, I was bored last night, so I made these armwarmers from some old, pink tights I had laying around. Some safetypins and scissors later, and here they are! Cheesy
They dont warm too much, but I think they're cute. Smiley

And laying flat.
